IP Megapixel Cameras can range from 1MP (720P) to 30MP (7K), more commonly we would use 4MP to 8MP Cameras positioned to look at fixed entry points or general scenes, they offer Infrared or white Light using manufactures own technology – Dark fighter – Light Catcher, or Colour VU giving you the best performance at night.
Body cameras are typically installed into an external housing which are more common when using separate Infrared illuminators such as Raytec where your requirement would be over 30M for IR Illumination.
Most Camera will also have embedded video analytics or AI to allow detection of a human or vehicle
