Biometric Readers and Systems are probably the most secure method of controlling access in a high security environment. They operate by distinguishing the personal attributes of the person using the system, such as voice recognition, fingerprint recognition or retinal scan.
How do biometric readers work?
Biometric readers electronically store a template of certain physical in an electronic memory and then automatically authenticate these when the person enters or leaves a building.
As Biometric readers become more affordable and quicker at reading the data they can be used on high security applications preventing staff members lending and swapping cards etc.
They can increase security and cut costs as tokens or cards are not required.
The Multi Spectral imaging technology used by Ievo Readers allows the device to capture high accurate reading of fingerprints, scanning both fingerprint and subsurface levels using multiple polarised and non polarised lights.
