PUBLIC ADDRESS / PA HIRE
Technical Services have a large range of outdoor horn speakers available for hire for any event such as horse trials, food festivals, sports days, weddings, funerals, fetes, fun days, carnivals & motor racing events to name but a few.
Our wide range of systems are available for hire to suit any event from battery powered portable PA systems & megaphones to a mobile commentary control rooms with built in speaker mast. The mobile control room can be powered from a local mains supply or built in batteries.
PUBLIC ADDRESS KITS
Our custom built PA Hire packages are designed for Plug & Play and ease of use allow the systems to be collected from our premises in Shrewsbury. Each system is demonstrated to you & then dismantled. Our staff will then load into your car & when you get to your event it is a simple reverse procedure.
MEGAphone / LOUD HAILER
The loud hailer or Mega phone is a light weight portable PA system in itself, they are ideal for small event were announcements are required for demonstrations, small sports days & rallies, typically a 10W unit but packing quite a large punch of audio for its size.
TRAMP SYSTEMS - UP TO 100 People
Suitable for indoor or light outdoor use the tramp system provides a softer level of noise for speech and music, suitable for small marquees, wine tasting and car shows.
Technical Services stock a quantity of Tramp PA Systems, they are a compact all in one system with a UHF radio mic system with wireless Handheld microphone, lapel or headset. Powering the two way high performance speaker is a 40W amplifier and CD player with aux input for ancillaries such as an iPOD or MP3 player.
Can be mains or battery powered.

LOW POWER OUTDOOR PA - UP TO 200 PEOPLE
The Low Power PA kit provides a 60W portable battery powered PA System complete with 2 Horn Speakers & Radio Microphone. Suitable for audiences up to 200 people in normal conditions.
HIGH POWER OUTDOOR PA - UP TO 400 PEOPLE
The High Power PA kit provides a 100W portable battery powered PA System complete with 4 Horn Speakers & Microphone. Suitable for audiences up to 400 people in
normal conditions.
Commentary boxes and Speaker Towers
Our custom built Trailers are designed for a quick setup and ease of use . Providing a central point for your event or an extension of the Sound System.
25’ MOBILE PA MAST
Our Mobile PA mast has a built in 25ft pneumatic mast & can accommodate 4 x 12 “ 100 V horn speaker, lined back to the commentary box wirelessly.
It can also accommodate lighting and even a CCTV High speed dome camera all at once ideal for outdoor events where the public address and Police monitoring can be achieved & linked back to the Mobile Control Room.
T3 COMMENTARY BOX
Our Smaller T3 Commentary box is also available for hire for, fetes, fun days, food festivals, sports days, horse trials, car shows and any outdoor event that requires a secure control point to make announcements from, with 360 degrees of vision complete with a full length desk for paperwork. It can also work as a Mobile Control Room for security for your event.
The T3 Commentary Box is quick to setup and ready to use with 10 minutes on arrival. Depending on your event speakers can be mounted onto side poles The unit is complete with:
- 2 to 4 Horn speakers
- Built in 24V batteries
- Internal LED Lighting
- 100V 120W Amplifier
- 2 x Radio Microphones
- 1 x Desk Microphone
- Radio/CD Player
- Ipod/3.5mm Stereo Jack input.
T2 COMMENTARY BOX
Our Commentary box is available for hire for, fetes, fun days, food festivals, sports days, horse trials, car shows and any outdoor event that requires a secure control point to make announcements from, with 360 degrees of vision complete with a full length desk for paperwork. It can also work as a Mobile Control Room for security for your event.
Our Commentary Box is quick to setup and ready to use with 10 minutes on arrival. Depending on your event speakers can be mounted onto side poles or a high 45’ mast. The unit is complete with amplifiers, CD Player, microphones plus a radio microphone.:
