VMS - HOW WE MAKE IT WORK
With our chosen VMS and carefully selected cameras, users in our control rooms can drag and drop multiple images on to different image panels across multiple video walls or send images to managers screen with the click of a mouse and even have different saved views for different shifts or set times of day.
This allows a centralised site or multi-site using the latest transmission technology with added back up edge recording (recording on the edge (at the camera))
In recent years we have found more clients wish to centralise in order to control who can view and export images to comply with Data protection and GDPR
The VMS allows multiple or single users to login via client software and view all cameras or selected cameras setup from an administration, it will also provide a full audit log of who has viewed which image, when and if anything has been exported of the system allowing you to keep your data safe.
Using a VMS also allows you to expand on the system which is then easily distributed across the site to other local viewing stations. Some specialist VMS will allow rules to run on a specific event, for example releasing doors, displaying an image on an alarm panel or displaying a map full screen with alarmed camera locations.
Many of our systems are recorded over multiple Raid 5 or 6 servers with fail over secondary servers full compete peace of mind
HEALTH CHECK
Using Secure Logiq health Check to display how many camera are online and list any failures, that need reporting to maintenance or in some cases with remote support enabled we can offer this service remotely and advise the customer if there are any problems.
It also displays the current performance of the sever(s) listing throughput and general camera load
Standalone Network Video Recorders
We also cater for smaller systems using standalone NVRS which will also have an ethernet connection for viewing remotely and via smart phone, typically these will come in 4, 8 16, 32 and 64 channels units, these can be a very cost effective solution for building a security system and Technical Services would advise the best solution for your needs
