Smart Credentials
Using Smart Credentials saves issuing tokens to members of staff or contractors, this reduces costs as many tokens are typically lost or not returned.
Using Paxton 10 Smart Credentials allows the administrator to grant access by sending the user an email, the user can then use Paxton Key App on their smart phone to open controlled doors.
WHAT ARE SMART CREDNTIALS
Using the built in Bluetooth Technology in Paxton 10 reader, your own smart device and communicate with the Paxton 10 system to allow access into a Paxton 10 Door
Paxton key also allows user to carry out predefined Building management functionality such as setting the intruder alarm
The App is available from the App Store and Google Play. *Requires Oreo v8.0 **Requires iOS v11.0
The app will even allow access with your smart watch without the need to take you phone out of you pocket or bag.
Other easy to use and convenient feature include:
- Touch to enter : simply tap the reader with a smart device within 1 -2 m range
- Token Mode: Simply present your smart device to a reader as you would with a token
- Long range: Great for Car Park Barriers for 5 to 10m Range
