Technical Services have a large fleet of portable two way Hand Held Radios available for hire for your event. Each Radio has a battery, battery charger and a leather case with lanyard. We have Bulk Chargers available for larger hire events.

Our Radios have multiple channels allowing different users to talk to each other, this is ideal for events where the event managers wish to have a separate channel to the stewards.

Two-Way Radio Range - EVENT HIRE

Range depends on terrain, our radio will normally operate up to a couple of miles however can be reduced to 500m in built up areas. For increased range please see our Repeater Systems below.

Licence
Technical Services have the OFCOM radio suppliers licence so you do not need to worry about licences when hiring two way radios, you will be covered using our own licence.

Repeater System - EVENT HIRE

For increased coverage Technical Services can hire a portable repeater system for your event.

Repeater Range
Range depends on terrain, our repeater will normally operate up to approximately 10 miles, however this can be reduced to 5 miles in built up areas.

Licence
Technical Services have the OFCOM radio suppliers licence so you do not need to worry about licences when hiring our repeater systems - you will be covered using our own licence.

Delivery or Collection

Depending on your location you can either collect the two way radios and repeaters from our premises or we can dispatch them via courier.
